Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AWS certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years welding experience in oil and gas or related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
• Knowledge of welding codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding according to engineering specs.
• Interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Inspect welded joints to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate, inspect, and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to complete projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage consumables inventory.
