The Senior Warehouse & Logistic Personnel is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods. This role supports the Warehouse Supervisor in leading a small team, maintaining proper inventory control, and ensuring that all warehouse processes adhere to company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist in daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure accurate stock management and timely update of inventory records in the system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly or quarterly inventory audits.
- Oversee loading and unloading activities, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance or training to junior warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with logistics and retail operations to meet delivery schedules.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or any operational issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in retail or FMCG environment.
- Hands‑on experience within inventory management systems or WMS.
- Must be able to ensure compliance with workplace and be comfortable with manual handling when necessary.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift license or certification is an added advantage.
