Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) invites applications for a Group Accounting Policy role based in Singapore. You will lead technical accounting guidance for complex matters, shape the Group's accounting policies, and drive the adoption of new and revised reporting requirements across the bank.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance with CA/ACA/ACCA qualification and 10+ years' banking experience, strong IFRS expertise, and excellent stakeholder management and communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance required.
• Professional qualification (CA/ACA/ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to apply guidance to complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and assess impacts of new accounting standards.
• Lead implementation of new standards and policy changes across the UOB Group.
• Provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions and new products.
• Partner with Business Units, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure policy consistency.
