Job summary

The Citi Digital Software Engineering group seeks a senior S/W Engineer Group Manager to lead multiple teams delivering enterprise-grade applications in wealth management and banking domains. You will drive design, development, and deployment of strategic systems, balancing business needs with risk and regulatory considerations.

You will collaborate with executives and stakeholders across functions, mentor talent, and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, modern tech stacks, and Gen AI driven

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of technology leadership experience.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects end-to-end.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in frontend (Angular) and backend (Java microservices).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Gen AI solutions.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management or banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties.
• Provide strategic influence and control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results.
• Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals.
• Influence and negotiate with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary.
