Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Digital S/W Engineer Group Manager to lead multiple, geographically distributed teams responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications in Wealth Management and Banking domains.

The role combines technical excellence with strong leadership, strategic planning, and risk management to uphold Citi's standards and regulatory obligations. A Bachelor’s degree is required with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience with technology leadership in Wealth Management or Banking.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects from conception to deployment.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise-grade applications.
• Extensive experience managing large, geographically distributed technology teams.
• Senior stakeholder management with executive-level collaboration.
• Hands-on expertise with modern tech stacks including Angular, Java microservices, RESTful APIs, Gen AI.
• Experience with SDLC tools including GitHub Co-pilot and related tooling.
• Strong Wealth Management knowledge and familiarity with CRM and back-office operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams to accomplish goals and conduct personnel duties.
• Provide strategic influence and control over resources, budget management and planning.
• Resolve issues using in-depth cross-domain knowledge.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to standards.
• Integrate knowledge of applications development with the technology function to meet goals.
• Provide evaluative judgement in complex, dynamic situations.
• Influence and negotiate with stakeholders and senior leaders; communicate with external parties.
• Assess risk in business decisions to safeguard Citigroup and ensure compliance with laws and regulations; escalate and report control issues.
