Job summary

Edelman Smithfield in Singapore seeks a Senior Vice President to lead accounts and teams across a diverse capital markets portfolio, including private equity, hedge funds, and asset managers. You will shape executive positioning, manage media relations, crises, and thought leadership while driving strategic communications for portfolio companies.

You will mentor teams, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with global Edelman Smithfield colleagues to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, journalism, public policy, communications, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in financial communications.
• Strong media relations and executive counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial communications and capital markets advice to clients.
• Act as primary client relationship manager, advising C-suite executives.
• Lead business development including pitches and new opportunities.
• Drive marketing and thought leadership to elevate Edelman Smithfield’s presence.
• Ensure proactive, responsive service and on-time delivery.
• Oversee complex projects from concept to completion; manage budgets and timelines.
• Develop staffing plans, budgets, and scopes of work to ensure profitability.
