Job summary

StarHub Ltd. is seeking an experienced virtualization and data centre infrastructure specialist in Singapore. You will plan and implement Citrix Cloud and VMware vSphere deployments, configure IAM, and design scalable virtual desktop solutions for diverse customer requirements.

You will also manage Nutanix platforms, perform upgrades, and ensure secure, HA-enabled virtualization environments across ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon components. Strong certs and hands-on expertise are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, backup, or data centre infrastructure.
Proven hands-on experience in virtualization and data centre technologies.
Certifications: NCP-MCI (Professional) and/or VCP-DCV (VMware) required; additional certs like Veeam/HCIA-Storage welcome.

Responsibilities

Plan session on DaaS & SPA deployment for Citrix Cloud.
Verify Citrix Cloud onboarding and Admin portal access and configure IAM on Citrix Cloud.
Configure Citrix Workspace settings and deploy to endpoints per customer requirements.
Design and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure including Horizon components, ESXi hosts, and client backup solutions.
Plan XenApp/XenDesktop deployments per customer requirements.
Manage and upgrade Nutanix platform.
Configure VMware vSphere infrastructure and perform upgrades.
Create virtual desktop and server templates based on customer interviews.
Implement thin client provisioning solutions for Windows and Linux embedded systems.
Secure ESXi vCenter server and vSphere VMs with ACL and security policies.
Configure vSphere vSS and vDS policies; enable Advanced HA and DRS.
Design, plan, deploy, and integrate Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop.
Configure provisioning server with High Availability.
Ensure LAN/SAN connectivity with Nutanix, Cisco UCS and HP blade servers.
Create UAT documents for datacentre products; perform UAT per vendor procedures.
Work with VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Migrate physical to virtual (P2V) and V2V using VMware converter and Platespin.
Migrate infrastructure to latest versions; move VMs to vDS.
Analyze customer requirements and prepare SOW for new projects.
Create virtual desktop templates based on customer interviews.
