They are now seeking a Senior Vice President, Human Resources to lead strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and leadership development. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving HR transformation, organizational effectiveness, and people strategy across the institution. This role will lead key HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee relations, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services HR leadership, change management, and strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s growth and business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic HR advisor to the executive leadership team and business unit heads.
  • Lead HR transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workforce effectiveness.
Talent Management & Leadership Development
  • Oversee leadership development programs, succession planning, and executive coaching.
  • Implement best practices for talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employer branding.
  • Drive initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top-tier financial services professionals.
Culture, Employee Engagement & Diversity
  • Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Lead employee engagement programs to enhance job satisfaction and workplace productivity.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives across the organization.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
  • Develop and oversee compensation, benefits, and reward strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure a robust performance management framework that drives accountability and career growth.
  • Benchmark HR policies against industry standards to maintain competitive and compliant HR practices.
Compliance, Risk Management & HR Operations
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, financial industry regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Oversee HR policies, employee relations, and conflict resolution in a highly regulated environment.
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to mitigate HR-related risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within the financial services industry.
  • Strong expertise in HR strategy, leadership development, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Experience leading HR transformation, digital HR, and organizational change management.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry HR trends, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to work with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
