Job summary

Adhart Shipping Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Vessel Operator to manage commercial operations for owned and third-party fleet trading worldwide. You will oversee post-fixture activities, laytime calculations, and vessel performance reviews to maximize revenue.

The role requires 7–10 years in commercial operations for Supramax/Ultramax vessels, strong administrative skills, fluent English, and the ability to coordinate with agents, charterers and owners.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Vessel Operator/Operations Executive roles in Commercial operations.
• Experience handling Supramax/Ultramax vessels is preferred.
• Strong administrative, planning and implementation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial operations for both owned and third-party fleet trading worldwide.
• Post fixture management—freight/hire payables and receivables, laytime calculations, vessel performance reviews.
• Optimize voyages and maximize revenue.
• Handle bunker procurement and management.
• Timely update voyage data on IMOS and generate routine reports on vessels' commercial performance.
• Coordinate with external parties (Agents/Charterers/Owners) to expedite voyages.
• Review Port Disbursement Accounts (DAs).
• Basic understanding of insurance and claim handling.
• Manage all other voyage relevant invoices effectively and timely.
• Provide general administrative support to the team leader as needed.
