thome offshore management pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Chief Engineer/Master to lead and ensure optimized technical availability of designated vessels. The role focuses on achieving best-in-class performance while controlling OPEX and maintaining client relations within HSEQ standards.

The successful candidate will oversee senior officer selection, maintenance planning, budgets, and liaison with owners, while coordinating vessel-related tasks and insurance matters.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chief Engineer/Master for a minimum of 8 months on relevant ships.
• Experience managing DSV/MPSV/Offshore construction vessels.
• Proven track record as Superintendent for at least 1 year in a shore-based shipping company (advantage).
• Candidates deemed technically competent without shore experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Promote and implement the company's HSEQ culture and philosophy.
• Contribute to achievement of targets and governing objectives.
• Accountable for senior officer selection and performance management.
• Coordinate internal communication between stakeholders and functions.
• Follow up crew changes in cooperation with assigned crew managers.
• Ensure vessel compliance with internal policies, statutory class and client requirements.
• Monitor charterer, oil major and class/statutory requirements.
• Track legislative changes and implement with Fleet Manager.
• Prepare and carry out ship-shore meetings with vessel.
• Conduct vessel visits/inspections as appropriate.
• Follow contingency tasks as defined in the contingency manual.
• Ensure environmental performance per company targets and policy.
• Participate in investigations when required.
• Maintenance and repair planning; monitor changes when required.
• Preparation and execution of dry-docking.
• Monitor PMS system including stock and consumption control.
• Assist vessel in technical and operational issues.
• Follow up procurement.
• Prepare operating budget and monthly balances.

QUALIFICATION&EXPERIENCE

• PreviousexperienceasChiefEngineer/Masterforaminimumof8monthsonrelevanttypeofships.
• MusthaveexperiencemanagingDSV/MPSV/Offshoreconstructionvessels
• AproventrackrecordasSuperintendentforaminimumof1yearinashorebasedShippingCompanywillhaveanadvantage.
• Candidatewhoaredeemedtechnicallycompetentandwithoutshoreexperiencewillbeconsidered.
