FORVIS MAZARS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced valuations senior manager to lead valuation functions, manage teams, and deliver high-quality reports on businesses, IP, financial instruments, and related areas.

You will drive business development and ensure rigorous application of valuation standards. You will oversee independent valuations, mentor juniors, and support partners on client management while upholding IFRS, US GAAP, and local standards in a dynamic professional

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of valuation or corporate finance experience in an accounting/professional services firm
Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP
CFA, CVA, RICS or ASA qualification will be an added advantage
Strong grasp of business valuation concepts and proficiency in financial instruments valuation
Resourceful and able to multi-task while managing priorities
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Perform independent valuation for businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting and restructuring
Review and evaluate valuation fieldwork, as well as the relevant valuation related standards and guidelines
Lead team in market and industry research, construct and analyse financial models, develop financial models and set up best practices, workflow and procedures
Lead in pitching for new projects, including preparation and presentation of proposals, engagement letters, marketing materials and technical documents
Guide team to prepare and deliver high quality valuation reports in accordance with relevant international valuation standards and/or financial reporting standards
Support the Partner on client management, practice development, and business development activities including project scoping and quotation
Building and maintaining client relationships before, during and after engagements and to propose steps in improving client's network and relationship
Plan, supervising, train, and mentor seniors, associates and interns on valuation and valuation related services
