Job summary

FORVIS MAZARS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. Singapore is seeking a Senior Valuation professional to join our APAC centre of excellence.

You will lead valuation engagements across enterprises, intangibles, financial instruments and PPA, with opportunities to work on cross-border assignments within the region. Responsibilities include developing financial models, conducting market research, preparing high-quality reports per international standards, and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• CFA / CVA / RICS / ASA certifications are a plus.
• 2–4 years of valuation or corporate finance experience.
• Willing to travel overseas depending on project.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• English fluency; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
• Familiar with valuation methodologies.
• Experience with S&P CIQ, Mergermarket, Refinitiv.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Senior will be a part of our Singapore office, which is the center of excellence within APAC, and will have the opportunity to work on cross-border assignments within the region. This role will not only be valuations-focused but will also have opportunities to work on other Deals advisory related assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Relevant certifications (CFA, CVA, RICS or ASA) is a plus
• At least 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in valuation or corporate finance with a reputable firm
• Depending on the nature of the project, overseas travel will be required.
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Fluent in English and proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus (due to the need to liaise with Chinese speaking clients);
• Familiar with valuation methodologies and approaches
• Familiar with the use of research/technical tools such as S&P CIQ, Mergermarket, Refinitiv
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
