Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in utility system engineering in a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance and capital projects effectively.
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards in engineering operations.
• Hands-on problem solving and clear communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure utility systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, delivering required levels of availability, quality, and performance.
• Act as technical owner for assigned utility systems, ensuring design, operation, and changes comply with GSK Engineering Standards and GMP.
• Manage utility system projects (upgrades, capital investments, commissioning, and validation).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support a wide range of utility and HVAC systems, including steam, chilled water, compressed air, purified water, WFI, cleanroom HVAC/air handling units.
• Drive equipment reliability through condition monitoring, data analysis, failure investigations, and CAPA.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching for utilities technicians and promote best practices.
• Maintain audit readiness through documentation, CAPA management, and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and EHS on deviation, change control, and improvements.
