Job summary

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to join the Architecture & Urban Design Group to shape a liveable city. The role blends urban planning and design with the development of strategic programmes, engaging city leaders, policymakers and designers to exchange knowledge and advance discourse on urban development.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Design, Geography or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in urban planning, architecture, urban design or related work.
Strong interest in the physical development of Singapore and contemporary urban planning and design issues.
Good planning and design sensibilities with the ability to translate objectives into proposals.

Responsibilities

Contribute to planning and urban design of strategic areas and projects in Singapore.
Develop and evaluate urban design concepts, guidelines and proposals.
Undertake urban analysis and translate findings into planning recommendations.
Review proposals and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve good outcomes.
Support initiatives to improve public spaces, including policy and programme development.
