in Singapore is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to install, configure, and harden UNIX/Linux servers, build development, test, UAT and production environments, and ensure robust, scalable platforms. You will collaborate with application, database, network, cloud and security teams, participate in planning and deployment activities, and develop automation scripts for provisioning and operations.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux administration on RHEL/Oracle Linux.
Ability to build UNIX server environments and perform security hardening.
Scripting in Shell and Python for automation tasks.
Experience with clustering/HA solutions and virtualization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and storage concepts.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Build & Implementation: Install, configure, and harden UNIX/Linux servers and build multi-environment setups.
Project Support: Collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams through planning and deployment activities.
Automation & Standardization: Develop scripts for provisioning and implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Security & Compliance: Apply OS hardening, patches, and ensure regulatory standards compliance.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create build docs, SOPs, runbooks, and transfer knowledge to ops teams.
Key Deliverables: Server builds, security hardening, automation scripts, deployment support, DR documentation.
