About the Role

ATOP Academy is seeking passionate and committed Senior Tutors to join our growing team. You will play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Science for Secondary or JC levels, based on our established curriculum and pedagogical framework. Your role is critical in supporting students’ academic progress and helping them unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons in a dynamic, interactive, and student-centered manner.
• Teach Science subjects to Secondary or JC students in line with the academy’s curriculum.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials, worksheets, and learning resources.
• Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to support continual improvement.
• Motivate and engage students, building their confidence and interest in learning.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress when required.
• Contribute to curriculum refinement and academic enrichment activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from a local Singapore government university (e.g., NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SIT, SUTD) or equivalent.
• Strong academic background in Science.
• Demonstrated passion for education and student development.
• Willingness to continuously improve teaching practices and participate in training.
• Energetic, confident, and approachable with a student-first mindset.
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Proficient in English to support communication with diverse students and parents.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
