Job summary

Aon plc in Singapore seeks a Senior Executive, Technical Accounting to handle treaty accounting operations for Asia. You will perform complex adjustments, reconcile data, and support invoice processing while collaborating with GCC and onshore teams.

The role requires 7+ years in treaty reinsurance accounting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/GRiDS. You will contribute to SOPs, training, and accurate end-to-end processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically, 7+ years’ experience in treaty reinsurance technical accounting.
• Good understanding of treaty reinsurance contracts and related operational processes (e.g. technical premium calculations, PC/SSC/LPC adjustments).
• Experience with reinsurance technical accounting systems, or strong willingness and ability to become a system SME.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to document processes clearly and follow SOPs and controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex treaty technical accounting activities, including adjustments for Asia treaty contracts.
• Resolve data discrepancies between system data and contract wording.
• Prepare and maintain working sheets for data entry in GRiDS and support invoice processing.
• Support processes related to brokerage credit/fees invoices and posting.
• Assist in documenting SOPs, work instructions and controls.
• Deliver technical training to GCC and onshore teams and support knowledge transfer.
