Summary
The objectives of the position are
- Assist Senior Treasury Manager to perform financial/corporate treasury duties & act as backup to other Treasury team members.
- Responsible for the preparation of treasury/finance reports and analyses
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Manage monetary transactions and liquidity for all entities
- Manage banking relationships and documentation
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies for all entities
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Prepare payment instructions in SAP and FIS, as well as applicable online banking systems
- Reconcile bank account statements in Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Prepare cashflow forecasts for cash management purposes
- Prepare and perform required tasks in TMS such as hedging requests, intercompany loans, money market deposits, interest rates monitoring and limits monitoring. Process cheque requests (issue petty cash cheques, obtain signatures)
- Process letters of credits issuances, amendments and discrepancies
- Liaise with banks, manage all banking documentation and maintain banking relationships
- Perform required finance tasks for month-end closing such as cash-in-transit/autobank posting clearing and bank reconciliation
- Respond to treasury audit queries
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Group policy and accepted accounting and finance practices
- Assist in design and development of financial policies, procedures and system development
- Prepare finance reports and analytics
- Handle ad hoc assignments as required
What you'll need
- University graduate in Accounting or Finance and with a recognised professional accounting or corporate treasury qualification
- Minimum 5 years working experience in corporate treasury is a must
- Excellent understanding of Accounts Payable bookkeeping is a must
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Well-organised, self-motivated, detail-minded, independent and able to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of accounting software, SAP is strongly preferred
- A good understanding of data privacy standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
- A good team player and willingness to learn
