Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Threat Detection and Response Senior Analyst to join our global Security Operations Center (SOC). The role focuses on threat detection, incident response, event analysis, and proactive threat hunting across IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent threat management & incident response experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations (Tier 2 / Tier 3 SOC analyst or incident responder).
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, CEH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security consoles and dashboards (SIEM/EDR) for suspicious activity and triage alerts to identify incidents.
• Investigate suspicious activities and determine scope/severity; gather evidence for response.
• Execute end-to-end incident response: containment, eradication, and recovery per IR plan.
• Proactively hunt for indicators of compromise and hidden threats using hypotheses and attacker TTPs.
• Tune SIEM/EDR detection rules and SOAR playbooks to reduce false positives and speed containment.
• Collaborate with global SOC and IT teams; share insights and elevate complex incidents.
• Document investigation steps and outcomes; contribute to post-incident reviews and playbooks.
