Job summary

SATS Ltd. is seeking a senior Threat Detection and Response Analyst to join its global Security Operations Center.

The role focuses on threat detection, incident response, and proactive threat hunting across SATS IT environments in support of aviation and logistics operations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, hands-on SIEM/EDR experience, and strong communication skills to liaise with regional teams in Europe and Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC Tier 2/3) or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR and incident response lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security consoles for alerts; triage incidents and prioritize response.
• Investigate incidents, determine scope, gather evidence, and perform root cause analysis.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from incidents following IR playbooks.
• Proactively hunt for threats using logs, network data, and endpoint telemetry.
• Tune detection rules and SOAR playbooks to reduce false positives.
• Leverage threat intelligence to enrich analysis and align with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure rapid, coordinated response.
• Document findings and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Develop and update incident response playbooks and runbooks.
• Mentor junior SOC analysts and share detection techniques.
