Job summary

Newbridge seeks a senior hands-on defender to own and mature our security detection and response stack. You will hunt, investigate, detect, and build in a full lifecycle role, driving end-to-end incident ownership from discovery to remediation.

You will lead technical responses, write and tune detections, and proactively hunt beyond SIEM alerts across endpoints, identities, and cloud. Cloud native threat work and EDR mastery are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years minimum doing the actual work in IR, Threat Hunting, or Threat Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Own the full incident lifecycle: detect, respond, and recover.
• Lead technical response, analyze telemetry, logs, and cloud traces to root cause.
• Develop and validate detections; write rules with KQL/SPL/Sigma and tune signals.
• Hunt proactively for attacker behaviors beyond alerts across endpoints, identities, and cloud.
• Secure cloud environments in AWS/Azure/GCP, identify risky permissions and abuse.
• Takedown phishing, fake domains, impersonation, and malicious infra as needed.
• Harden EDR/SIEM/cloud controls and create playbooks to speed up response.
