newbridge alliance pte. ltd. is seeking a senior hands-on defender who lives in the trenches.

This is not a manager role; it’s a technical owner who can hunt, investigate, detect, and build. If you enjoy taking a security capability from zero to mature and keeping it sharp, this is for you. You’ll own the detection and response stack end-to-end—selection, deployment, tuning, integration, and decommissioning.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years minimum doing IR, threat hunting or cyber threat intel.
• Hands-on experience with modern EDR, CrowdStrike preferred.
• Experience handling real incidents solo.
• Able to write detections with KQL/SPL/Sigma and tune noise without losing signal.
• Understanding attacker techniques: persistence, privilege, C2.
• Cloud threat hunting across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.

Responsibilities

• Own health, effectiveness, and evolution of detection and response tools and processes.
• Lead end-to-end incident response and document lessons learned.
• Develop proactive detections and test them like attackers would.
• Investigate threats in AWS/Azure/GCP and fix root causes.
• Harden EDR/SIEM/cloud controls and automate response playbooks.
