Job summary

SingHealth Group is seeking a Senior Therapy Assistant (Podiatry) to support podiatrists and clinic teams in delivering foot care. You will help with clinical prep, equipment, infection-control, patient education, and admin duties.

The role may involve delegated patient-care activities such as nail trimming, working within an approved scope, and supervising junior assistants, with opportunities for training and competency development.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in science discipline is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

The Senior Therapy Assistant (Podiatry) will support podiatrists and clinic teams in delivering foot care to the patients. The Therapy assistant assists with clinical preparation, equipment and infection-control processes, patient education, administrative duties. Suitable and trained candidates may also involve in delegated patient -care activities such as nail trimming, working with an approved scope of practice, competency and under appropriate supervision. The senior therapy assistant will also guide junior assistants and contributes to training and competency development.

Suitable and eligible candidates may be given opportunities to be trained as podiatrists.
