MICRON ELECTRICAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a field-ready engineer with hands-on experience in electrical instrumentation, installation, and related work.

The role involves testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of HV substations, plus ensuring reliability and safety in accordance with international standards. You will review SLDs and vendor drawings, coordinate with utility clients and project teams, and handle both indoor and outdoor substations.

• Experience with electrical instrumentation and installation.
• Experience with HV equipment testing and maintenance.
• Familiarity with SLDs and vendor drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of various electrical equipment in high-voltage substations.
• Troubleshooting electrical systems for reliability and safety compliance.
• Experience with protection relays, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Coordinating with utility clients and project teams for site activities.
• Installation and testing of MV/LV switchgear.
• HV/MV/LV cable testing and insulation resistance checks.
• Calibration of energy meters and HT/LT motor testing.
• Feeder and motor protection relay testing with multiple OEMs (Siemens, ABB, etc.).
• Set up cabinets and install equipment in panels.
• Cabinet wiring for power controls and I/O signaling.
• Install and terminate cables between panels.
• Install rail, trucking and related infrastructure.
• Install and labeling of components; tagging and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.

The candidate should have knowledge of and experience in all electrical instrumentation, installation, and other allied work

• Testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of various electrical equipment in high-voltage substations.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with international safety standards.
• Experience with protection relays, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Coordinating with utility clients and project teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
• Handling both indoor and outdoor substations, various instrument transformers, powertransformers, circuit breakers, and related equipment.
• Reviewed and interpreted Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layouts, vendor drawings, and technical documents.
• Compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Strong decision-making ability during critical project activities.
• Interacting with Site Managers & Engineers.
• Testing of CTs, PTs, circuit breakers, power transformers, lightning arresters, and isolators.
• HV and LV cable testing, insulation resistance measurement, and continuity checks.
• Calibration of energy meters and testing of HT/LT motors.
• Feeder and motor protection relay testing using multiple OEMs such as Siemens, ABB, Alstom, Schneider, L&T, and C&S Electric.
• Set up all the cabinets.
• Equipment installation to the panel.
• Arrangements and installation of power and communication cables require equipment.
• Arrangements and Installation of all rail, trucking, etc.
• Installation of all free-issue components. Wiring for power controls and I/O signaling cables to terminals
• Fix all MCBs, relays, IO modules, terminals, and accessories.
• Install all cable markings, labeling, and tagging, and assemble controller panels.
• Installation work for MV/LV SWBD.
• HV/MV/LVSWBD cable pulling and termination.
• Control cable termination between the panels or cubicles.

The selected candidate should support and give full attention to project field and office strategies to achieve the company's key performance goals. Enforce all safety and quality policies, and all other company policies and procedures when and where required.
