Qualifications

• 10+ years of dedicated experience managing on-premises Teradata production environments.
• Deep understanding of physical Teradata MPP architecture (Nodes, AMPs, Parsing Engines, BYNET).
• Strong hands-on experience with physical storage, Linux/Unix server administration, and shell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage, secure, and optimize on-premises Teradata data warehouse for high-performance analytics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, data engineers, and BI analysts to maintain hardware efficiency and uptime.
• Configure and tune workload management rules to balance server resources.
• Troubleshoot data load scripts and ensure disaster recovery and backup strategies.
