Job summary

National University of Singapore seeks a Senior Research Fellow (Techno-Economic Analyst) to lead TEA and LCA studies on hydrogen and low-carbon technologies at the Centre for Hydrogen and Carbon Innovations. Based at Kent Ridge Campus, you will partner with industry to develop projects from proposals to execution.

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in techno-economic analysis, energy systems modelling, life cycle assessment.
• Familiarity with hydrogen technologies, renewable energy, carbon management, or decarbonisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development with industry partners.
• Lead the development of projects from drafting proposals and grant applications to managing the projects.
• Conduct techno-economic analyses (TEA) and life cycle assessments (LCA) of hydrogen and low-carbon technologies.
• Evaluate the technical feasibility, commercial viability, and scalability of emerging hydrogen and low-carbon technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to integrate experimental data into TEA and sustainability assessments.
• Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to communicate findings and identify project opportunities.
