Job description

As a PYE Technician at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of Technician that solves complex problems, responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to both internal and external customers.

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join Micron Technology Inc. Central Engineering (CE) - Product Yield Improvement (PYE) Engineering Team. As CE PYE Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) Technician for Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing electrical characterization, fault isolation, physical failure analysis and functional de-processing, supporting qualifications, customer returns, and new device introduction. You will become a domain expert on electrical/material characterization, fault isolation, physical failure analysis and de-processing methods, tools, and techniques. In this work environment you will be required to follow lab policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical device characterization to identify electrical fail mechanism.

• Operate fault isolation equipment to narrow failure defect location.

• Perform physical failure analysis to identify physical defect.

• Establish and hypothesize possible electrical or process fail mechanism based on electrical fail model and physical failure analysis characterization, to support process improvement.

• Prepare and present electrical and physical failure mechanism on a weekly basis.

• Develop new fault isolation/physical failure analysis technique.

Requirement:

• Diploma in any related Engineering field

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a strong strive to excel.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Highly motivated individuals.

• Knowledge of fault isolation equipment/technique/physical failure analysis is an added advantage.

• Understanding in DRAM/HBM devices and knowledge of Fab process is an added advantage
