Job summary

Nestle in Singapore is seeking an Electro-mechanical Technician to assist the Electrical Engineer in projects and maintenance for production plant equipment, lighting and power installation. You will perform routine M&I, repairs, calibration, and updates to schematics while ensuring tool readiness and equipment uptime.

Required is a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, ability to read diagrams and PLC programming, and 2 years of electrical installation/servicing experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• Able to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams and write PLC programmes.
• NTC-2 Electrical Installation + Servicing with 2-year experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) for plant equipment, lighting, and power installation.
• Carry out repair and improvement work as required.
• Calibrate, maintain and repair of pneumatic and electronic instruments.
• Carry out bench fitting jobs.
• Update schematic, single line diagrams and programme as necessary.
• Ensure that all tools and test instruments are in good condition.
• Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment and carry out trouble-shooting related to equipment malfunction.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
