Job summary

Daikin Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a technically proficient Documentation Specialist to develop and manage high-quality manuals, data sheets and user guides for BMS systems. You will work with engineers to translate complex concepts into clear content and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

The role supports remote work with strict deadlines and requires strong writing skills, experience with software UI/API documentation, and proficiency in Adobe, MS Office and Visio.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills, with clarity and precision.
• Experience documenting Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Documentation for software applications, including UI and APIs, and marketing materials.
• Proven ability to produce detailed hardware operation manuals.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-starter able to work remotely and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient with Adobe products, MS Office and Visio (mandatory).
• Experience building documentation standards with ISO 9001 compliance.
• Familiarity with version control systems and content management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including data sheets, user guides, installation manuals, and system specifications, and contribute to training material development.
• Document software features, workflows, APIs, and integration processes from the base level.
• Create detailed hardware operation manuals, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product managers to gather and validate technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Ensure documentation meets industry standards and internal style guides.
• Manage version control and updates in alignment with product releases.
• Work independently while consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
