Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the documentation team, ensuring alignment with project goals, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain clear, structured technical documentation including user manuals, work instructions, and machine checklists to support installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Oversee documentation workflows, including version control, electronic file management, backups, and archival of project media assets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and QA teams to gather technical insights and validate content accuracy and completeness.
- Define and enforce documentation standards, templates, and best practices to maintain consistency across all deliverables.- Review, edit, and provide feedback on content developed by engineers and junior writers, ensuring clarity, technical accuracy, and user-centric language.
- Apply diverse technical writing techniques and tools to communicate complex information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure documentation activities are well-planned and executed in alignment with project milestones, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in either Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical or any other engineering.
- Have experience to lead a team.
- Preferably 3 year(s) of working experience in Manufacturing industries.
Skillset(s) Requirement:
- SOPs, user manuals, training PPT.
- Work instructions and maintenance checklist.
- Proofreading and clarity improvement- Information architecture and content flow.
