Job summary

EXECUTIVE SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE LTD is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to manage the technical and operational aspects of LNG/Oil/Chemical/Product Tanker vessels. This role requires close liaison with owners, charterers and port authorities, with a focus on safety, maintenance, and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a Graduate Engineer background with COC Class 1 (Unlimited FG), at least 3 years in a Senior Officer role on Foreign Going vessels, and proven PMS/ISM/PSC

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with COC Class 1 (Unlimited FG) is required.
• Sailed as Chief Engineer on LNG/Oil/Chemical/Product Tankers (Foreign Going).
• Minimum 3 years experience in Senior Officer Rank on Foreign Going Vessels.
• Proficient in PMS, ISM, PSC, Flag & Class requirements.
• Preferably 1 year as Technical Superintendent on Foreign Going Vessels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee operations of assigned vessels, ensuring HSEQA compliance and budgets.
• Communicate with stakeholders, comply with owners/charterers requirements, monitor maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure vessel certifications and surveys are planned and conducted timely.
• Plan and implement corrective actions for defects and maintenance schedules.
• Travel overseas frequently to attend vessels in ports worldwide.
