Senior Technical Project Manager Enterprise IT (Healthcare)

• Role: The client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Technical Project Manager reporting to the CTO, with a strong background in enterprise healthcare product development. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience managing large-scale healthcare IT projects and vendor solutions. Responsibilities include end-to-end project execution, driving Agile transformation, and ensuring delivery excellence in a multi-vendor, regulated healthcare environment.

• Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex healthcare IT projects using Agile methodologies.
• Manage enterprise healthcare product development initiatives including EHR, patient engagement platforms, claims processing, and data integration systems.
• Drive Agile transformation, coaching stakeholders and teams in best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with standards like HIPAA, HL7, FHIR.
• Serve as liaison between product management, engineering, QA, compliance, and client services.
• Oversee vendor performance and contract compliance.
• Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
• Implement risk mitigation, monitor KPIs, and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint and PI planning in SAFe or hybrid Agile settings.
• Ensure documentation, change management, and QA procedures are followed.

• Requirements:

• 15+ years in technical project management within healthcare IT.
• Experience managing large-scale product development cycles.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, ICD-10, EDI).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies; certifications preferred (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe).
• Experience with vendor management and SLA enforcement.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, data privacy, and interoperability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
