Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets Singapore Pte Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for Pricing & Core Platform. The role owns complex domains, prioritises backlogs, engages stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement to ensure modern, stable platforms aligned to business needs.

The ideal candidate will lead backlog prioritisation, collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, operations and vendors, and support release planning.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in product ownership or related IT roles with leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile delivery practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Experience working with technical teams and vendors

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the backlog for a complex application domain; define epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, operations and vendors to deliver changes; support release planning
• Manage dependencies and risks across stakeholders and teams; track delivery progress and outcomes
• Support incident analysis, production issue triage, and root cause discussions where domain knowledge is required
• Coach junior Tech Product Owners and support knowledge transfer within the team

Job Summary:

The Senior Tech Product Owner owns one or more complex application domains and is accountable for backlog prioritization, delivery outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. The role ensures the application domain is modernized, stable, and aligned to business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for a complex application domain or multiple related systems .Define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize work based on business value, risk, dependencies, and technical sustainability. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and modernization.
• Effective partnership with business users to clarify and prioritise requirements and translate them into technology outcomes. Work closely with architecture, engineering, QA, operations, and vendors to deliver changes. Support release planning and sprint governance.
• Manage dependencies and risks across multiple stakeholders and teams. Track delivery progress, business outcomes, and operational impacts.
• Support incident analysis, production issue triage, and root cause discussions where domain knowledge is required.
• Coach junior Tech Product Owners and support knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, application delivery, or related IT roles with at least 3 years in a team lead or leadership position
• Strong knowledge of SDLC / agile delivery practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of application support, enhancements, and change delivery.
• Experience working with technical teams and vendors.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Agile / product / business analysis certification advantageous.
