Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain plant safety equipment through routine checks to ensure compliance to EHS policies.

· Ensure safe working conditions through implementing corrective actions to maintain equipment and process condition within safe operating limits.

· Maintain proper inventory and database of various types of chemical usage.

· Oversee the plant operator to ensure smooth daily operations of wastewater treatment plant, such as completion of all routine tasks required (i.e. monitor process parameters, plant patrolling, data logging and housekeeping).

· Monitor wastewater process parameters according to the specifications and ensure compliance with relevant agencies’ effluent discharge compliances.

· Arrange and maintain proper records of water samples collection for laboratory analysis testing and submission to PUB monthly.

· Liaise and coordinate with vendors for deliveries and waste/sludge disposal.

· Identify, monitor, and track all M&E and buildings’ defects and coordinate with appointed contractors for rectification till completion.

· Ensure execution of preventive / predictive maintenance to identify and prepare equipment for maintenance before breakdown.

· Ensure all licenses and permits are renewed in a timely manner.

· Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum Higher/NITEC/Diploma in Engineering

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience in facilities management in built environment.

· Experience in wastewater treatment plant will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge in buildings’ codes and authorities’ requirements.

· Troubleshooting skills and Problem-solving skills.

· Effective team player with good communication skills and high self-motivation.

· Good working attitude and able to work under minimum supervision.

· Good interpersonal skills, writing skill and proficient in Microsoft Office.
