Senior Technical Consultant (PeopleSoft) - M.Dai

Our client is looking for an experienced senior technical consultant in PeopleSoft to join the team to work on PeopleSoft Campus Solution Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, development, and management of enterprise application initiatives, with a focus on academic programme systems, particularly those utilizing the IN4SIT platform and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and define business requirements, and oversee the full software development lifecycle—from system design and coding to testing and deployment.

• Deliver ongoing technical assistance to end-users, providing expert advice on IT application strategies and solutions.

• Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings to understand operational objectives and translate them into actionable technical specifications.

• Analyze stakeholder input to prioritize feature requests and formulate detailed functional and system design documentation.

• Proactively monitor and resolve project-related challenges, addressing issues and managing risks to ensure successful delivery.

• Align project deliverables with business goals by engaging key stakeholders through all phases—from development to post-launch support.

• Evaluate business challenges and recommend practical, technology-driven solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• A recognized university degree, accompanied by at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise software or IT consultancy roles.

• Proven expertise in leading and executing enterprise application development projects.

• Hands-on experience integrating PeopleSoft systems with third-party applications via Integration Broker.

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with:

• PeopleSoft development tools such as Application Designer, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Query, and SQR

• Web and database development, including solid experience with MS SQL and RDBMS principles

• Demonstrated success in building effective partnerships with business stakeholders and functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen analytical mindset and a strategic approach to technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

• Highly collaborative, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
