About the Department

Privilege Banking is responsible for branch sales and portfolio growth efforts related to various bank products. Requires a license to sell securities and related investment products. Activities include support of promotional activities, enhancing customer relationships, and referring customers to other areas, as appropriate. The Privilege Banking focus specializes in clients with investible assets below a given value that are serviced by the consumer or private bank. Responsible for maximizing revenues, product initiatives, sales, customer satisfaction, and minimizing operational losses, in addition to deepening existing relationships and minimizing customer attrition.

Consumer Banking covers activities related to providing services and products directly to consumers through various business channels. This group includes retail banking, consumer lending, auto finance, small business banking, and related business areas.

Job Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the PV team, setting clear objectives, and motivating team members to achieve targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial goals, and providing tailored wealth management solutions.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding the client base, and developing strategies to increase assets under management.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, managing risks effectively to protect the interests of clients and the bank.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product specialists, investment advisors, and client advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve business objectives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Possess relevant accreditation (M1B, M5, CM-EIP (M6, M8), CM-SIP (M6A, M8A), M9, M9A and HI)
  • Proven track record of success in wealth management, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead through change.
  • Professional certifications such as CFP, CWM, or similar are advantageous.
