Qualifications

• Minimum a Diploma holder and/or an associated shipping qualification.
• 5 years or more of relevant experience in Tanker vessel operations.
• Good knowledge of the shipping industry.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees the end-to-end operations of Vessels and Fixtures and to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
• First point of contact for all matters within the area of responsibility including monitoring vessel’s movement and performance, resolving complex deliveries, disputes, and claims.
• Maintain close communication with Owners/Charterers and brokers on vessels’ matters.Assist with preparation of management reports, ship chartering issue, i.e., clause negotiations, vessel’s clearance etc.
• Participate in proposing workflow improvements and optimisations to improve efficiency and process excellence.

Education, Experience and Skills

• Minimum a Diploma holder and/or an associated shipping qualification.
• 5 years or more of relevant experience in Tanker vessel Operations.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office applications
• Well experience in handling vessels operations and have good knowledge/understanding of the Shipping industry.
• With a highly analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently and systematically under pressure.
• Proactive self-starter who is service-oriented. Attention to detail, effective communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Resilient, adaptable to changes and an excellent team player.
• Seagoing experiences will be an advantage.
