Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our global infrastructure team. You will provide systems engineering, administration, and operational support for enterprise environments, focusing on end-to-end ownership.

You will design, implement, and maintain Linux, UNIX, Windows, virtualization, storage, and container platforms; build automation, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-geo teams to improve reliability, security, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering, administration, and operational support for enterprise infrastructure and product environments.
• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux, UNIX, Windows, virtualization, storage, and container platforms.
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts and incidents, and support incident/change/problem management processes.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and applications.
• Administer VMware environments, support OpenStack migrations, and maintain VMs for sandboxes and testing.
• Build, administer, and maintain OpenShift clusters and perform vulnerability remediation.
• Support enterprise services including storage, virtualization, SQL Server; experience with Oracle/IBM MQ/IBM AIX is advantageous.
• Develop automation scripts and manage system configurations across environments.
• Analyze system performance and improve monitoring, reliability, and security.
