SCIENTE is seeking a hands-on Senior System Engineer to lead and support 24x7 mission-critical systems in secure on-premises environments. The role demands strong technical leadership and practical involvement in deployments, incidents, and emergency recovery.

Based in Singapore, you will administer Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware, and Splunk, coordinate with OEMs, and provide 24/7 Level 2 support on a scheduled rotation while handling after-hours incidents and critical recovery tasks.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in systems administration or mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with VMware, Layer 2/3 networking, and Splunk monitoring.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery, DR, patching, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; willing to provide after-hours on-site support.
• Availability for after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and Active Directory environments.
• Manage antivirus definitions, security patches, OS, software, and firmware upgrades.
• Perform SSL certificate renewal and management across all components.
• Maintain VMware virtualization infrastructure including ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.
• Monitor and manage system logs using Splunk and Syslog tools.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with OEM vendors for root cause analysis and resolution.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance, system health checks, and reporting.
• Support system deployment and change activities during off-peak hours.
• Manage L1-L3 incident tickets and service requests.
• Provide 24/7 Level 2 operational support based on a scheduled rotation.
