Position Overview
The successful candidate will join the NUHS Innovation team. The primary responsibilities are to support the delivery of IT solutions/Innovation Solutions for the institutions, i.e. AH IGH, NUH, TGCH, NUP, NTFGH, etc. This includes programme oversight, planning, budgeting, and supporting solution implementation. To succeed, the candidate must effectively engage and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across various roles.
Role & Responsibilities
Programme Management:
Oversight of the IT programme, tracking the projects’ progress to ensure projects are on track and aligned with the overall IT programme timeline.
Identify, track, and manage the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for the overall IT programme.
Coordinate activities among different projects and support the system integration between Synapxe managed systems and cluster managed systems.
Work Plan and Budgeting:
Collate business requirements of cluster stakeholders, including working with delivery teams for solution review board submissions, ITQ/RFP submissions, and approval papers.
Work with delivery teams to obtain the costings, including reviewing the cost reasonableness.
Work with relevant parties (vendors, delivery teams, MOH, etc.) to advise users on the adoption of technologies/systems/national initiatives.
Project Delivery:
Plan and track the required activities for IT readiness, deployment, and implementation.
Track key performance indicators for institution/cluster projects such as timely project delivery, quality of systems delivered, user satisfaction of systems delivered, etc.
Manage and report on project development, maintenance, and support activities.
Others:
Prepare and present the required materials for relevant forums in the institution/cluster (e.g., IT committees, management meetings, hospital steering committee meetings, MOH meetings, etc.).
Support and manage ad-hoc IT requests from the institution/cluster, IT issues resolution, etc.
Support audit requests as raised from internal/external audits.
Undertake any requests as directed and in alignment with organizational objectives and goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (IT related field preferred).
Strong experience in project management.
Excellent problem-solving skills (including troubleshooting in IT-related contexts).
Excellent written/communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
