Who We Need

Senior / System Support Officer provides technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to computing devices and software application.

  1. OIT Asset Management & Lifecycle

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and end-of-life (EOL) disposal.

  • Ensure timely renewal of software licenses and subscriptions, and maintain compliance with licensing agreements.

  • Track warranty and support coverage for hardware assets, and coordinate replacements or repairs as needed.

  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions based on performance, cost-effectiveness, and business needs.

  • Maintain and regularly update the asset inventory database to reflect accurate status, location, and ownership of all IT assets.

  • Develop and enforce asset management policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accountability across the organization.

  • Collaborate with vendors and procurement teams to source and manage IT assets efficiently.

  • Monitor software usage and ensure alignment with organizational standards and security policies.

  1. IT Operations & Project Support

  • Support and coordinate IT relocation activities, including planning and execution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new setups and scheduled deployments of computing devices.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting methods for asset tracking and performance metrics.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and project execution.

  • Lead or support ad-hoc IT initiatives, including hardware/software evaluations and special projects.

  • Act as a point of contact for escalations related to asset management and technical support.

  1. Governance

  • Manage local licenses and legal requirement.

  • Apply best practices on ITIL processes.

  • Adhere to applicable policies and procedures

How to Succeed

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • ITIL certification or equivalent (preferred).

  • Asset Management or Procurement certifications (e.g., CHAMP, CAMP) are a plus.

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, technical support, or IT operations.

  • Proven experience managing hardware and software lifecycles.

  • Experience with asset tracking tools and inventory systems.

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.

  • Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to lead asset-related initiatives and drive process improvements.
