Job summary

WORKLE PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead the IT team and oversee infrastructure.

The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership across network administration, system engineering, and cross-functional projects. Candidates should have 5–6 years of IT experience, strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, and cybersecurity awareness. Experience with Promax/Virtual Environment and Microsoft Business Central is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in an IT administrator or system engineering role.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, IT operations, and IT environments.
• Cybersecurity awareness and knowledge.
• Knowledge of Promax/Virtual Environment and Microsoft Business Central is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the IT team's day-to-day activities and major IT projects
• Design, implement, and maintain IT environments including network infrastructure, servers, storage, and software applications
• Oversee Smart IT infrastructure and work collaboratively with the IT team
• Coordinate and liaise with HQ on IT matters
• Assist Sales team in reviewing tender proposals for network compliance and system design
• Support Project Engineers in configuring network components including IP cameras, SAN, servers, switches, routers, and workstations
• Work with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues
• Manage network and system administration including setup, maintenance, and security
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end users
• Manage IT risks, deliver projects on time, and drive process improvements
