Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior/System Engineer to support system deployment, integration and IT infrastructure activities. The role involves working with project teams to deliver infrastructure projects and to configure, test and maintain Windows server environments.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently or with teams. Willingness to learn new technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant system engineering or IT experience.
• Experience in system deployment, integration or IT infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of databases, networking, Windows OS and servers.
• Experience with database setup, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of data migration and data integration will be an advantage.
• Experience with system testing such as UAT, FAT or SAT is preferred.
• Knowledge of security, access control or CCTV systems will be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of system and infrastructure projects.
• Perform system and database setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support Windows operating systems and server environments.
• Perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support system integration, testing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation and operations.
• Support data migration, integration, backup and recovery activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation.
• Coordinate project activities with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Support system design and implementation when required.
