Senior / System Engineer

Job Summary

If you are a System Engineer or IT professional with experience in designing robust system data architectures and integrating new digital technologies into business processes, then Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! The System Engineer will be responsible for integrating new digital technologies to improve and sustain our ongoing Digital Transformation roadmap. This role is based in Singapore and will be under the Measurement Solutions business unit.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead Digital Transformation:

1. Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in business operations.
2. Collaborate with multi-functional collaborators to expand digital solutions.

System Data Architecture Design:

1. Design and develop scalable data architecture that support business requirements.
2. Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across all systems.
3. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes.

System Integration:

1. Integrate various systems and software applications to work together efficiently.
2. Conduct rigorous testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.

Collaboration and Support:

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technological resources with business goals.
2. Provide training to developers on system usage and best practices.
3. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system architecture.

Who You Are:

You have strong knowledge in relevant digital skills to drive Digital Transformation. You are interested in the latest digital technology and willing to lead its introduction to improve the business operations. You can independently lead projects and facilitate effective collaboration between collaborators.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying digital solutions using SQL, SSIS and Power Platform tools.
2. Have hands-on experience in managing SQL databases and cloud resources.
3. Good understanding of project management and experience in leading digital transformation projects.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
2. Proven experience in leading and successfully implementing digital transformation projects with tight timeline.
3. Proven experience in designing and implementing robust scalable Database Architecture.
4. Proven experience in using Azure services (e.g. Azure AI, Azure pipelines, etc).
5. Certification of competency in SQL Database Management, Microsoft Azure services or Microsoft Power Platform.
6. Fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision.
