A leading company in automation solutions is seeking an engineer with expertise in systems integration and process automation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and be proficient in designing and testing control systems for commercial projects. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, training teams, and ensuring timely project completion while liaising with various stakeholders.
· Meeting with the management team to assess and define system requirements.
· Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.
· Training the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.
· Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.
· Carrying out testing, integration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for commercial projects.
· Designing control panels and subpanels and generating I/O lists.
· Developing process functional and software design specifications, including control write-ups and schematics.
· Developing, engineering, and testing DCS/ DDC/ PLC/ SCADA software.
· Designing, implementing, and testing interfaces between various third-party communication protocols.
· Developing hardware and software design specifications and other test documentation.
· Diagnosing and resolving electrical, instrumentation, and control systems issues.
· Ensuring project timelines and documentation are maintained.
· Conducting site testing and commissioning with clients.
· Liaising with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience
· 5 years or more experience in industrial and process automation, and/or building ACMV systems for built environment projects.
· Experience in building management systems is advantageous.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronic Engineering.
