Job summary

GLOBAL ROAD MACHINERY & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Surveyor to prepare setting-out plans, perform site surveys, and maintain control points for construction projects. You will coordinate with project teams and ensure dimensions and alignments meet specifications on site.

The role requires a Diploma in Land Surveying or related field, 5+ years of civil surveying experience, and proficiency with Total Station, GNSS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Land Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of surveying experience, preferably in civil/construction projects.
• Experience in construction surveying, setting-out, levelling, and as-built surveys.
• Familiar with local surveying requirements, construction practices, and relevant standards.
• Proficient with Total Station, Auto Level and GNSS/GPS equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office is an added advantage.
• Able to read construction drawings, surveys plans, and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in survey measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey setting-out plans and related survey documentation.
• Carry out site surveys, setting-out, levelling, alignment, and dimensional checks.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, grids, and reference points.
• Coordinate with Project Team, Site Engineers, Contractors on survey requirements.
• Conduct inspections to ensure position, alignment, levels, and dimensions meet tolerances.
• Verify works against drawings and highlight discrepancies.
• Provide accurate survey information to site teams for construction.
