Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain supplier quality requirements and standards.
• Assess supplier performance using KPIs (PPM, defect rates, delivery quality, process capability).
• Manage supplier quality issues through containment, 8D/CAPA, corrective actions, and verification.
• Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide quality engineering support for new supplier qualification and NPI, including review of FAI/FAIR, PFMEA, control plans, and capability studies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier processes and product quality and reduce defects and supply risks.
