Job summary

Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore) is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer for Infrastructure Reliability & Quality (IRQ) to ensure high supplier quality for AWS infrastructure equipment throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with equipment suppliers, laboratories and manufacturing plants.
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the supplier quality roadmap across engineering and procurement teams.
• Conduct technical investigations of equipment failures to understand root causes.
• Provide technical expertise on quality evaluation methods, testing approaches, and failure analysis techniques.
• Drive supplier and product qualification and assessment processes in support of procurement teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives addressing immediate quality issues and long-term performance.
• Develop and implement KPIs to monitor supplier quality performance and accountability.
• Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions.
