Senior Supervisor, Machining

Job Description

The Senior Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the production floor in a precision manufacturing environment, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This role requires extensive knowledge of cleanroom protocols and deburring processes, with CNC machining knowledge being highly advantageous.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

• Cleanroom Management: Oversee cleanroom operations, ensuring compliance with cleanliness and contamination control protocols.

• Deburring Processes: Manage and optimize deburring processes to ensure precision and quality of manufactured parts.

• CNC Machining: Utilize knowledge of CNC machining to support and improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, and train staff.

• Training and Development: Train and mentor production staff on cleanroom procedures, deburring techniques, CNC machining, and other relevant processes.

• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and standards.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including cleanroom logs, deburring records, CNC machining logs, and quality control reports.

• Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.

• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during production, including equipment malfunctions and quality concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a precision manufacturing environment, with specific experience in cleanroom and deburring processes. CNC machining knowledge is highly advantageous.

• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with manufacturing software.

• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cleanroom protocols, deburring techniques, CNC machining, and quality control standards.

Other Information:

• Working Hours: 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)

• Location: Changi North

• Company Bus: Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
