Job summary

A leading automation services provider in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the installation of warehouse and logistic automation equipment. This role involves managing on-site personnel, scheduling work, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical installations and possesses strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Mechanical/Electrical hands-on experience in the installation of automation equipment.
• At least 3 years of site supervision of installation work.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of installation of warehouse/logistic automation equipment.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors for installation work.
• Plan and arrange work schedule to meet the project completion deadline.
• Liaise with customers on work plan and progress.
• Manage workers and subcontractor issues on site.
• Ensure all site works comply with regulatory health & safety.

Job description

• Supervision of installation of warehouse/logistic automation equipment. E.g. conveyors, lifters, ASRS, sorters, etc.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors for installation work.
• Plan and arrange work schedule to meet the project completion deadline.
• Liaise with customers on work plan and progress.
• Manage workers and Subcon issues on site.
• Ensure all site works are carried out according to regulatory work health & safety.
• Reports to Project Manager or Site Manager.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Mechanical/Electrical hands-on experience in the installation of automation equipment.
• At least 3 years of site supervision of installation work.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS).
